Ryan Bingham Fort Worth reviews
cannot get enough of Ryan Bingham and his band
I first saw Ryan Bingham and the Dead Horses on Austin City Limits and after owning all the recordings, reading the press that Ryan received when his songs hit the movies and just continuing to play those albums I made the goal of seeing him live. I drove from central Wyoming to Denver in February (buying tickets and making hotel reservations was a leap of faith) which included waiting for I-25 north of Denver to open so I could get there and it was worth every heartbeat of white knuckle driving. When they came onstage he made the promise they would give us everything they had and boy, did they. Now I want to hear that band live again. Keep those guys working so that I can.
Bingham at St.Andrews
First off, Bingham is a bad ass period but the show could have been more exciting. There's no better venue in Detroit on a Friday night than St.Andrews Hall. The crowd was pumped up and filled to capacity. As the band took the stage, I could see Bingham's band had yet changed once again with the introduction of two background singers. The show leaned hard on Bingham's newest release with staples like Top Shelf Drug, Radio,. Bluebird, Hard Times and Hallelujah all but ignored. As always fiddle player Richard Bowden stole the stage and is worth the price of admission on his own. In my opinion, the show was week on set list....Ryan Bingham light but overall it seemed like Ryan was having a good time, told some great stories and yes, I'd pay to see it all over again.
